~SUMMER 2009~

Well it is getting pretty hot here in Florida. Days are about 90' and the A/C is working overtime!

Life in our household has been busy: since my last post we found out that our oldest daughter is expecting. At this time she is about 8 weeks away of having our first granchild, Ava Leighton! How exciting! I guess life will never be the same!

I have been busy doing some trend research and developing new products! I will post when ready to introduce. Also have been helping my daughter with a new 'baby' venture! When she is ready to launch her website, I'll post a link. Never a dull moment!

The last 8 months have been busy with the holidays, craft shows, 1st anniversaries for both of my daughters and several trips to Houston, Denver and Israel.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful season of renewal as we await summer.

~WHY I HAVE BEEN MISSING IN ACTION~

Hi Everyone!

OK, so I really don't think that there is any GOOD reason for my missing status on my blog~ but I will try and account for the last 8 months!

In December 2007 my youngest daughter got engaged! Yeah! They quickly planned the wedding for May 24, 2008~ three weeks after her graduation from college~

My older daughter had already planned her wedding for October 10, 2008 but sometime between December and February the plan changed and new wedding date for her was March 29, 2009. We had 4 weeks to plan her wedding!

For those who don't know, I also work for my husband~ he's a CPA and TAX DAY is April 15th.

So you see where most of my January thru May went. Since the weddings and alot of moving by my children, life is settling down. : )

I'm back to sewing, designing and planning the fall schedule! Check back ofter, I will be posting new products.

Cindi is back!

Hi All!

It seems like forever since I posted, I'm sorry! To update you on what has been going on...My husband and I went to Costa Rica for a missions trip with our church. We were there to help with some building projects at the Lighthouse Children's Home in Tres Rios. What a wonderful and life changing trip! My husband has been to Kenya before for a missions trip, but this was my first. It was an exhausting week (I was sick with the flu for most of it), but the rewards and friendships that were made, far outweigh the exhaustion!

When we returned home, I spent a week trying to get better and then it was Thanksgiving! My youngest daughter was home for a couple of days and we enjoyed a family Thanksgiving day. The next day we left for 'vacation'. We are currently in NC enjoying the cool weather. It is a working vacation! I brought sewing machine and fabric and have been a busy bee!

Good Monday Morning All!

What a wonderful Rainy Monday Morning in Florida! We can't complain; not much rain lately, and with the rain comes lower temps!

I had a Purse Party on Saturday! It was very nice and sold about 8 purses. Mostly custom requests, so that will be keeping me busy!

Youngest daughter is home for 4 days from college, so hope to spend some time with her today. She has to fly back to South Carolina tomorrow!

We are busy with wedding plans for my oldest daughter. They selected the location last week and we may be able to pick bridesmaid dresses today. What fun!
